18 days later and still waiting for permission to put up our awning at 80 Main Street. North Hatley Info submitted its application for a permit to display its awning at 80 Main Street on July 10<\/a>. The inspector requested additional information, which was provided on July 14<\/a>. I also asked the inspector a few questions, but he never responded. No doubt the silence is due to the numerous requests and summer vacations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that said, we will wait for authorization to install our \u201cNorth Hatley.info\u201d awning. Obviously, according to the inspector, everything will have to go through the CCUP and probably the city council afterwards. Still, it\u2019s a good process for a request to display an awning that was identical to the one previously used for the hair salon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
