Unfortunately, Mill Street is still in a state of World War II. Yet it is probably the busiest pedestrian street after Main Street, since everyone who parks at Parc des Rivi\u00e8res walks down Mill Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let’s call a spade a spade: the street is simply disgusting, and the smell is just the icing on the cake. I drove by today and felt like throwing up because it stank so bad. It’s a shame to leave such a charming and important part of the village in this state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I may be the only citizen who has noticed, as people often tell me I have a keen sense of smell! But I don’t have good eyesight. However, you can’t miss the numerous large containers, unless you want to injure yourself on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I know that the merchants on Mill Street have come together to find solutions to propose to the municipality. According to rumors, there may be a location away from Mill Street where the containers can be grouped together to avoid the current unsightly landscape and odors that make passersby want to vomit. Sorry to use such strong language, but it accurately describes the smell!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unfortunately, businesses need containers to dispose of their waste. It seems to me that the municipality should set up a location other than directly on the street. And it should do so immediately! This is undoubtedly part of the future master plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
