(<a href=\"https:\/\/northhatley.info\/en\/2025\/09\/23\/the-magic-of-the-north-hatley-community\/\">see an example<\/a>)<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Access to the water:<\/strong> rethink access to the lake. <a href=\"https:\/\/northhatley.info\/2025\/05\/27\/plus-de-98-des-bords-de-lacs-et-rivieres-du-quebec-sont-enclaves-par-la-propriete-privee\/\">With 98% of Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s water bodies now inaccessible<\/a>, I want solutions that restore access for all residents\u2014not only shoreline owners\u2014while respecting the environment and ecosystem. (<a href=\"https:\/\/northhatley.info\/en\/2025\/09\/28\/how-can-we-restore-access-to-lake-massawippi-for-residents-and-tourists\/\">see examples<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Two priorities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Public finances:<\/strong> optimize management to pay down debt and, if possible, consider a tax reduction. It starts with rigorous and tight management of expenses.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ongoing dialogue:<\/strong> establish a structure that fosters meaningful exchange between the municipality and residents\u2014and among residents themselves.
