During a municipal council meeting, Ms. Gerrish mentioned the possibility of holding an <strong>open house<\/strong> to give residents an opportunity to tour the renovated offices and see firsthand the results of this <strong>$339,784 investment<\/strong> \u2014 and that is <strong>before adding the costs associated with the move, the rental of temporary office space and the relocation and setup expenses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would therefore like to bring the idea forward once again and suggest setting a date <strong>before Christmas<\/strong> \u2014 ideally, not on a weekday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After all, it is the residents of North Hatley who are funding these renovations through their taxes. It seems only natural to open the doors for a day, giving residents an opportunity to discover the new spaces and see the results of their investment for themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>On that note, I look forward to seeing you there during the visit!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Renovations to North Hatley\u2019s Town Hall have been completed since the beginning of September.
