Allow me to emphasize the importance of publishing the minutes of each meeting the following day in order to encourage citizen participation. Many citizens have told me that it is difficult for them to attend council presentations; several have also questioned the lack of virtual broadcasting, as was done during the pandemic and during the presentation of the master plan.
As of October 29, 2025, neither the minutes nor the audio recording of the October 8 meeting are available on the municipal website. During an election period, quick access to decisions made the previous month is all the more essential. The recordings of the August 11, September 8, and October 1 meetings are also missing.
At a minimum, minutes must be updated promptly, as must audio recordings. Ideally, giving people access to attend council meetings virtually would encourage greater citizen participation.
