Two new members will be joining the council, Ms. Astrid Dangoisse and Mr. Claude Gendron. The information will likely be updated soon on the village’s website. This meeting appears to be an important one, as several budgets will be adopted.

It would be helpful for the municipal council to specify the timeframes for publishing minutes and audio recordings on the website. Sometimes, residents must wait several months before a simple meeting record appears online. It’s hard to follow municipal politics with such delays.

Documents from April to September were only published in mid-October, during the election period. The minutes from October 1st are still missing, as are several audio recordings from past meetings. Let’s hope that this renewal at town hall comes with a strong commitment to citizen participation. We’ll see in the coming weeks.
